Terms of Service

QuoteForges is a software service operated by QuoteForges (“we,” “us,” or “the company”). By creating an account or using the service, you (the “customer” — typically a contractor or contracting business) agree to these terms.

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. One human per login. Sharing a single login among multiple team members violates these terms; add team seats instead.

QuoteForges offers a 14-day free trial. We don’t require a credit card to start. At any point during or after the trial, you can pick a plan; if you don’t, your account becomes read-only and your data stays in place until you delete it or we delete the account for inactivity (12+ months).

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You can change or cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period; we don’t prorate partial months.

QuoteForges uses Stripe Connect to facilitate payments your customers send you (deposits on quotes, invoice payments, etc.). When you connect your Stripe account, those payments flow directly to your bank account, minus Stripe’s standard processing fees. We do not take a platform fee on transactions; our revenue is the SaaS subscription you pay us. You are the merchant of record for those transactions and responsible for delivering on the work your customer paid for.

Don’t use QuoteForges to do anything illegal, abusive, or that would damage our infrastructure. Specifically, don’t send spam, harvest user data, run automated load tests against our API, or knowingly upload malware. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

You own your data. We won’t sell it, share it with advertisers, or train AI models on it without your explicit opt-in. If you cancel, you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it. See our Privacy Policy for the specifics.

We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance and rare unplanned outages happen. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from downtime. If you experience a sustained outage, email us at hello@quote-forges.com.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. We can terminate your account for unpaid invoices, breach of these terms, or legal compulsion. We’ll give you reasonable notice unless the breach is severe or legally precludes notice.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of QuoteForges is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We’re not liable for lost profits, lost data, or other indirect damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.

We may update these terms periodically. If a change is material, we’ll notify you by email or in-app banner at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of QuoteForges after that means you accept the new terms.
